- Being charged does not mean you are guilty. It means police say you have committed an offence and the court process now starts. The first step is getting advice before you say anything further to police or enter a plea. Call us and we will tell you what your charge sheet actually means and what your realistic options are.
- Can you appear for me in court?
- Yes. Our lawyers are solicitor advocates and run many of their own appearances, so the person who prepares your matter is usually the person who speaks for you.
- Can I get Legal Aid?
- Possibly. Victoria Legal Aid funding depends on the charge, your means and whether you are at risk of imprisonment. We can assess your eligibility and apply on your behalf.
