Common questions

Property & Conveyancing FAQs

Should you review the contract before I bid or sign?
Yes, and it is the cheapest thing you will do in the whole purchase. Send us the contract and section 32 before auction day so you know about the easements, owners corporation fees, planning overlays and special conditions before you are bound.
What does conveyancing cost?
We quote a fixed professional fee for standard residential purchases and sales, plus disbursements such as searches and duty. Ask us for a quote on your specific property.
How long does settlement take?
Most Victorian contracts settle 30, 60 or 90 days after signing. We manage the timetable, the searches, the adjustments and the electronic settlement for you.
